Find out whether you are about to solve the wrong problem.
Two ways to put a proposal through the same test. One you do with me on a call today, and one you will work through on your own once it is built. Pick whichever fits how much of it you want to do alone.
The Self-Guided Blueprint
$129 USD
Coming soon
The questions I ask on a call, in the order I ask them, so you can put a proposal through the same test on your own. It is not finished yet.
Tell me where to send the launch notice and I will email you the day it is ready. Confirm the link I send. You will get the monthly letter too, and you can leave from any email.
Before You Sign
$500 USD
75 minutes, plus a written page within two business days
You have a quote and a deadline. You want to know whether it fixes the right problem before the money moves.
Before You Sign
75 minutes with me on the decision in front of you. You leave with a written page: what I make of the proposal, where the money actually goes as far as it shows, and the three questions to ask before you sign.
$500 USD
Paid when you book. No tax is added at checkout. Where sales tax applies it is already inside the price, so the number you see is the number you pay.
What the fee buys. 75 minutes of undivided attention on your decision, and a written page you can forward. It buys the thinking, not a particular conclusion, which is why it is paid at booking and is not contingent on what the answer turns out to be.
I do not take bookings I do not think I can be useful on. If I decline yours, or cancel it, the fee comes back in full, within two business days.
If you need to move it. Cancel at least two business days before and the fee returns automatically. Inside that window, or if you do not show, the slot was held and the reading was already done, so it stays. Move it once, with the same two business days' notice, and that is no trouble. A second move, or any move inside two business days, means the fee stays with me. We still meet, and I will tell you by email rather than let you find out afterwards.
Who this is for
- You have a quote or a proposal in front of you. An agency retainer, an automation build, a software migration, a hire.
- The spend is at least $5,000, so an outside opinion is proportionate to the decision.
- You want to know whether it fixes the right problem, not to be told that it does.
Who it is not for
- You have already decided and want the decision confirmed.
- The spend is under about $5,000. The fee would be a meaningful share of it, and I will tell you so rather than keep the booking.
- You are looking for free advice with an invoice attached.
What happens on the call
- First 15 minutes
- What you are about to buy, and what you are expecting it to fix.
- Next 45 minutes
- I take the proposal apart. Where the money actually goes as far as the document shows it, what it quietly assumes, what it does not cover, and whether the problem it solves is the problem you have.
- Last 15 minutes
- Your questions, and what I would do in your position.
- Within 2 business days
- A written page you can forward to whoever else has to approve the spend.
Working with me directly
Some situations are not one decision. Something has been wrong for a while, everyone inside has a different explanation, none of them has moved it, and it has been costing you the whole time. I take on a small number of those directly, scoped and quoted in conversation rather than sold from a page.
It starts with the 75 minute call above. That is not a formality: I need to know what you are actually seeing before I can say whether I would find anything, and you should hear how I think before you commit anything larger to it. If we go on within 30 days, the fee for the call comes off what follows.
If you are not sure whether your situation is one of these, email me at info@rashadbayram.com and describe it in a few lines. I will tell you whether it is something I can help with, and I will say so plainly if it is not.
Why me
I am an economist with an M.A. in Macroeconomics and fifteen years inside multibillion-dollar multinationals, in business analysis and commercial control: process gap analysis and reengineering, commercial negotiation, sales, marketing and general management. That is the seat that sits between departments rather than inside one, which is where the expensive problems live and where nobody else's job description reaches. I was measured on results every one of those years. Then my own technology and operations agency, which I wound down deliberately, and which is where most of what I know about bad proposals comes from. Then Taxformify, which I co-founded and shipped, named one of Edmonton Unlimited's 10 Companies to Watch for 2026 from a field of 59 applicants.
You are not buying a deck. There is no team of analysts behind me, and nothing I recommend makes me money. A large firm's proposal has a scope, the scope has a next phase, and the next phase is how the firm gets paid. That is the business model rather than a scandal, and it shapes what gets recommended before anyone in the room notices. In one of the cases on this site the right answer was cancel this, you already own the fix.
Where I am genuinely limited: I do not implement. If what you need is a team to build the thing, I will say so on the call and you should go and hire one. If you want to see how I take an argument apart before you pay for it, read this piece on automation proposals first.

Pick a time
Everything starts here, whether it is the 75 minutes on one decision or something longer. You will be asked what you are weighing and roughly how much is on the line. Answer properly and I will have read it before we start.
The 75 minute call is $500 USD, charged when you book. Cancel at least two business days before and it returns automatically. The full terms are above.
